Refund Policy
Version 2026-10-29.1 · Effective date: [effective date] · Applies to Vettro, run by Sheldon Lines, trading as Vettro
In short
- Pro payments aren't refunded. There's no free trial either: the free plan is how you try Vettro.
- You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the month or year you've already paid for.
- Duplicate charges and billing errors are always refunded, and so is anything the law requires.
- Paddle, our merchant of record, sells Pro and may also refund under its own buyer terms.
This summary helps you read the page. The full text below is what applies.
1. No refunds
Pro subscriptions, monthly or yearly, are not refunded, in full or in part, including for unused time, except as described below. There is no free trial of Pro: the free plan is how you try Vettro, for as long as you like, before you decide to pay.
2. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from the gear icon (top right) → Subscription → Cancel subscription, or through the link in your Paddle receipt.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for (the current month on a monthly subscription, the current year on a yearly one), then your account returns to the free plan, keeping the 2 markets you added first (which you can then change once every 30 days).
- Yearly subscriptions: we email you at least 7 days before a yearly subscription renews, so you can cancel in time if you want to.
3. When we do refund
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle handles billing, tax and payment-related customer service.
- Duplicate charges: if you were charged twice for the same period.
- Billing errors: a charge after you cancelled, or a charge at the wrong price.
- Refunds by Paddle: Paddle is the seller of your subscription (merchant of record) and may refund under its own refund policy and buyer terms.
- When the law requires it: see “Your legal rights” below.
Our Terms also say when we refund the unused part of a paid period because of a change we make (for example, if we close your account without you having broken the Terms).
4. Buyers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK
The law gives consumers in these countries a 14-day right to cancel many online purchases. For a digital service like Pro, that right ends once the service has started, if you agreed to it starting straight away. So at checkout we ask you to tick a separate box:
“I want Pro to start straight away. I understand that once it starts, I lose my 14-day right to cancel and get a refund.”
Pro starts as soon as the payment goes through. If you don't want to give up the 14-day right, don't buy Pro yet: you can keep using the free plan. Paddle's buyer terms say how the right works in the UK (including yearly renewals) and other countries, and Paddle handles those requests as the seller.
5. How to ask about a charge
- Email us at [contact email — hello@domain] with “Billing” in the subject and the email address your account uses, or
- Contact Paddle through the link in your receipt email.
We reply within 5 working days. Approved refunds are paid by Paddle to the payment method you used. How long the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider, usually 5 to 10 working days. When a payment is refunded, the Pro access it paid for ends.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank (a “chargeback”). We can usually fix billing mistakes faster.
6. Your legal rights
This policy doesn't limit any right you have under the consumer law where you live, for example if the service isn't as described. Where the law gives you a refund right that can't be excluded, it applies, and nothing in this policy takes it away.
7. Questions
Email [contact email — hello@domain], or see Contact & complaints. Subscriptions, renewals and cancelling are also covered in our Terms of Service.
