In short
- News, economic events and economic figures on Vettro come from official public sources (and international bodies such as the BIS and OECD) and from the GDELT Project. Vettro shows no market prices.
- Vettro shows only headlines where the source allows it, its own short summaries and links to the original articles, never full articles.
- The providers and publishers own their content. Vettro doesn't claim it, or endorse it.
- Third-party data can be delayed or wrong, so check the original source for anything important.
This summary helps you read the page. The full text below is what applies.
1. Where the information comes from
- Vettro shows no market prices. For charts and prices, use your own platform (each market's tile links to it on TradingView).
- News comes from the public announcements of central banks, statistics offices and other official bodies, and from articles found through the GDELT Project (credited with a link wherever its results are shown).
- Economic events come from the official release schedules of central banks and statistics offices.
- Economic figures (inflation, jobs, unemployment, growth and central bank policy rates, on Central Banks, Trend Analysis and the Economic Scoreboard) come from official statistics: the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Federal Reserve, the ECB, Eurostat (euro-area and Swiss inflation), the UK's Office for National Statistics (Open Government Licence), the Bank of Canada (available free of charge at bankofcanada.ca), the BIS (central bank policy rates) and the OECD. Each figure is credited and linked to its publisher. Where a source's terms don't allow its figures to be shown, Vettro shows only a link to it. Figures from the BIS are shown to everyone, whatever the plan, as its terms require.
Vettro uses this content under the reuse terms that public bodies and the GDELT Project publish. The full list of sources is on the Sub-processors page.
2. How Vettro shows news
For each news article, Vettro shows only:
- the headline, only where the source's terms allow it (official sources that permit reuse)
- the name of the source (the publisher)
- the time it was published
- a link to the original article
- a short summary written in Vettro's own words
Vettro never stores or shows the full text of articles. To read an article, follow the link to the publisher's website, where their own terms apply.
3. Who owns the content
Articles, headlines and data belong to their publishers and providers. Showing them on Vettro doesn't mean Vettro owns them, or that the publishers or providers endorse Vettro, or that Vettro endorses their views. Trademarks belong to their owners.
4. Accuracy and timing
We choose reputable sources, but we can't guarantee that third-party information is complete, accurate or on time. Always check the original source before relying on anything important, and read the Risk Warning.
5. Your use of this content
You may view content on Vettro for your own personal use. You may not copy, scrape, republish or redistribute news, briefs or summaries from Vettro (see the Terms of Service).
6. Rights holders
